This is a short film that i wrote and directed. The story is about a man with a camera and big ideas.

Since October of 2009, i have been working on a Feature Length film entitled HAIRDRESSER. I’m hoping to have the film finished by the beginning of summer, but it all depends on weather and actors. The film is a bizarre interpretation of society and subculture. It all takes place in this apartment complex, and the story bounces back and fourth between three groups of tenants. In one apartment, there is a spray paint huffing schizophrenic man who believe a mannequin is his wife and mother to his child Sebastian, who is a 19 year old anti social, who appears to be the only normal character in the film. In the second apartment there is a Meth smoking folk singer named Randy Ransom, who rooms with a sex fiend super hero named buzz feathers. The third and final apartment consists of a priest who runs and underground cult that appears to be a Pentecostal organization and he also shoots animal tranquilizers. My goal is to enter this experimental film into several different film festivals, and to also start and then maintain a cult following.

A man’s work is nothing but this slow trek to rediscover, through the detours of art, those two or three great and simple images in whose presence his heart first opened.
